I had my first job interview and it was fine. Well, I was pissed when I get out of the house because someone told me that I don’t look good (but not literally. She said it in a different way). So I headed to the bus thinking I am not good. – from there, I was already losing my confidence. Habang na sa byahe, I read my notes I have wrote in planner about my “tell me about yourself”.
30 minutes before 11 I landed on the place where I am supposed to be. I freaked out at first kasi I thought I was lost. But, I trusted my instincts instead of crying… I know my feet will bring me to the right direction. Tama nga naman ang instinct ko. So, when I reached the office, there were 2 applicants. The one was quite distracting because she keeps on making the table moving which gives me a hard time to write legibly… well yes, nag-inarte ako sa isip ko. (sorry about that). My answers were average, I think? Especially the test about making a performance report, I used a scratch, which is kinda embarrassing and kinda madaya (hehehee) and I answered it as if I was doing a psychological report.
“Danica…” the lady called me. Ah! It’s my turn for the interview. the lady asked me about the salary, about my internship and what interest me the most among the 4 internships I had. Sympre I told her I enjoyed doing recruitment at AXA… blah-blah-blah.
End.
I can’t say yet that I passed the first interview because I still have to wait for their call. She mentioned that they have to short-list candidates first dahil mukang maraming nag a-apply for HR Associate. Nah… I am not expecting much though. Whatever happens, happens. Ganoon lang ka simple.
