doom – doo doom – doom!!!
Shoot that ball!
A-D-U...
Ooooooooh – oooh – oooh – oooh... ANIMO LA SALLE!!
D-L-S-U...
Drum rolls, cheering squads, students & alumni cheering, colors of the school (may it be green, blue, yellow, red, maroon), the scores, the fouls, the penalties, the players... and of course, THE GAME.
That’s UAAP.
yesterday, August 6, 2011 (Saturday). I went to big dome to witness the very famous, UAAP season 74 J my friend studies at Adamson University and their game will start at 3 P.M. after the first game which is NU v.s. UE.
While on our way to araneta..
G: mag-cheer ka ha. Blue na blue ka pa naman. Sayang effort.
At 2:45 P.M., we already went inside the dome... ako naman pag pasok ko, I was like, “ooh-my-gosh-ang-daming-tao-ang-lakas-ng-drums-ang-saya-nito”. But i just kept that feeling to myself.
While I was watching the game (AdU v.s. DLSU), I keep on observing then student who are keep on cheering for their schools. They keep on shouting out their support for their friends, family, and schoolmate. Here are some of the things I noticed any maybe learned while watching:
After watching the game, we went to gateway to watch “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” starring Eugene Domingo. The film is an entry in the 7th year of Cinemalaya 2011. Eugene won the best actress award for that movie and I can say that she deserves it. She did great there. Especially when she was making arrangements with Kean and JM... her acting there, EPIC!
At first, I find it boring kasi paulit-ulit yung scenes... but then, I tried to look the purpose why they did it that way. I figured out the vision of the film... as well as the film inside the film (if you have watched the movie already, you’ll understand that comment. But if you haven’t, go get money and go to the nearest mall and watch it).
Also, while we were watching the film, I realized... mahirap pala gumawa ng isang indie film.
Doing a film is not easy also.
Haaayyy, yesterday is looooooooved <3
Ang dami kong natutunan. Ang dami kong nalaman. Ang dami kong naranasan.
#125. Watch UAAP live bago grumaduate --- ACHIEVED!
