Here is my list.
But if you’re one of my closest and most trusted friend, well, maybe alam mo na
ang ilang nakalista… or maybe, hindi pa rin. So yeah, I was inspired by this
trending topic so I decided to make a list. I want to post my 10 facts on
twitter but I decided not to kasi baka may mga taong umapela at mag-reklamong
napupuno ko na ang timeline niya.
anyway, so ito
na nga... (the list is in arranged in random order)
1.
"Danica" means morning star. That’s why I find stuffs with stars
design fascinating. People, please don't be confused morning star with morning
glory. Morning glory is different. It’s muta in tagalog.
2. Aside from my
talent in speaking, explaining things, and having creative ideas, I have a
talent in acting (So yeah, there is a part of me that wants to be a theatre
actress and be an indie film actress). I discovered this when I entered
college. We always do role playing in some of our subjects and my group always
get the highest score. A lot of my friends also noticed that 'talent' but I
didn't acknowledge it until I got to share my talent in our ministry. Every
Holy week, we perform for Jesus through siete palabras. I usually don't
showcase my talent in our ministry kasi I feel shy and I tend to be very
reserved whenever I am with them. (I know hindi ako dapat ganon but it comes
out naturally eh). Despite of hiding my talent from them, I had a chance to be
one of the main characters for 2 consecutive years. (pero 3x na ako nagiging
main character. my first was when I was 13.)
P.S. the best compliment I had for doing
this was fromz my mom. she said to me, "Alam mo, kapag nakikita kitang nag
peperform sa stage, ibang-iba ka. Parang hindi ka si Danica. Nakikita ko yung
glow mo kapag nasa stage ka."
3. I am OC when it comes to papers and penmanship. I've been like this since I was a kid. Noong elementary ako, I always tear the leaves of my notebook kapag may bura or kapag gamol sa paningin ko yung page ng notebook ko. I think yung laro namin ng classmates and seatmates ko na 'paunahan matapos at pagandahan ng sulat' tuwing may pinapasulat sa amin yung mga teachers namin served as a training for me. Mabagal pa rin ako magsulat hanggang ngayon pero I can say naman na maganda ako magsulat. I still tear or change the pages of my notes if maraming erasures but it lessened na compare when I was still young. I learned how to value mother Earth na, that' why.
4. I feel annoyed every time I see people throwing their trash on the streets. Simula noong sinabihan ako ni mommy noong nagtapon ako ng BBQ stick sa kalye, hindi ko na ulit ginawa yon. That’s why every time I am with my friends, I get their attention and I always remind them to throw their trash properly. I even tell them na kung hindi nila kaya hindi magtapon, they can give their trash to me and I am willing to keep it inside my bag or pocket.
P.S. Marami na akong kaibigan na naimpluwensyahan with this habit. Also, I see this as a contribution and my support to save our planet and our country.
5. I grew up with a thinking na ang dalandan ay big version ng calamansi, kuba talaga ang mga kampanero, nasa ibabaw talaga ng ulap yung mga angels at makikita mo silang natugtog ng harp.
6. I always prepare for the Holidays. It’s my own “ritual” for Jesus’ birthday. It’s my way of expressing my joy for the coming of the Lord. (But of course there is a part of me that wants to express my kakikayan). I always see to it that I am color coordinated; I have new clothes and shoes for Christmas and New Year. I am actually restricting myself from wearing clothes twice for these occasions. I’ve been doing this “ritual” since I was young.
6. I always prepare for the Holidays. It’s my own “ritual” for Jesus’ birthday. It’s my way of expressing my joy for the coming of the Lord. (But of course there is a part of me that wants to express my kakikayan). I always see to it that I am color coordinated; I have new clothes and shoes for Christmas and New Year. I am actually restricting myself from wearing clothes twice for these occasions. I’ve been doing this “ritual” since I was young.
7. I prepare for themed parties. I dress and make a lot of efforts when I have themed parties to attend to. I always see to it that my look or my costume will be noticed. I always see to it that I’ll be different and I’ll get everyone’s attention (or they could take a second look at least).
P.S. I usually win the award for being the most outstanding. Haha!
8. I am dreaming of becoming a majorette since I was young. I grew up thinking that kapag majorette ka, you’re sexy, you’re beautiful, and you’re popular. (Hah! I wish I could be a majorette even just for a day!)
9. I always see
to it that I have something new when the school year starts, or kapag may lakad
ako na alam kong mag-eenjoy ako. It could be anything, as long as something
that I could bring along with me.
10. I can
survive a day without taking a bath. (yeaaaaah! I know it’s gross but don’t
judge me like that please? Haha).
